Family drill
🎯Family drill
Run through it once before it gets serious — like the fire drill at school. Five minutes, all devices on, then everyone knows what to do.
- Start: Family → Practice → "Start drill". The others see "Drill!" in the notification — nobody gets a fright.
- 1 Roll call: every device checks in with one tap, the clock is running. Kids in simple mode press the green button.
- 2 Meeting point: does everyone know the way there from school and work? Kids tap "To the meeting point" and show it on the map. If there is no meeting point, set one now.
- 3 Radio: charge level of the family radios, then a test message — most honest with the phone in flight mode. Without a radio the step is skipped.
- 4 Notifications: are notifications on, is there an alert place? Check the same on every device — a phone with notifications off gets nothing when it counts.
- Result: "Drill passed" or "Drill done" with the open points, plus "3 of 3 checked in within 2:40". The result goes as a line into the family chat so every device knows when the last drill was.
