Arrangements within the household: locations, brief status updates, "I'm safe".

• End-to-end encrypted: the key is created on your first device and never leaves the household. The server only sees encrypted records, status and locations included. Only a help call stays open so it reaches every device, even one that has just joined.
• Without a network: messages are buffered and delivered once the network is back. The clock next to a message shows whether it has gone out.
• Send location: one tap, and the point arrives as a message and on the map.
• Not a real-time chat: the app syncs on opening, every few seconds while in the chat, and when the network returns. That saves battery.
